This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice” or “Notice”) explains how Paradigm Operations LP (together with its Paradigm affiliates, “Paradigm,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects personal information from job applicants who are California residents, to the extent their personal information is collected and used by us solely within the context of their job application to Paradigm. Please note that this Notice does not form part of any employment contract or contract to provide services.
This Notice supplements other privacy notices you may receive in connection with your relationship with us. This Privacy Notice does not apply to our handling of data gathered about you in your role as a visitor to our website, or as a user of products and services provided by us or any of our portfolio companies.

Internally: We may disclose your information internally, including to Paradigm subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as any of their subcontractors or service providers, where appropriate for the uses described above.
Vendors: We may disclose personal information to vendors that assist in human resource functions, such as travel providers, testing companies, applicant tracking system providers, scheduling and email communications providers, security services and cloud-based data storage, legal services, and employment businesses (in relation to contractors or agency workers).
Recruiters: We may disclose personal information to recruiters if you are working with a recruiter in connection with your application for employment and your recruiter is authorized by you to obtain feedback from us regarding your application and interview process.
Legal Compliance and Exercising Legal Rights: We may disclose personal information as required or permitted by law to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is legally required or otherwise necessary to protect our rights and property or the rights, property or safety of others, including to law enforcement agencies, and judicial and regulatory authorities. We may also disclose your personal information to third parties to help detect and protect against fraud or data security vulnerabilities.
Business Transactions: We may share or transfer your personal information to a third party in the event of an actual or potential sale, merger, reorganization of our entity or other restructuring.

No “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information
We do not “sell” or “share” the personal information of job applicants, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and have not done so in the twelve months prior to the effective date of this Notice.

Authorized Agents
You may designate an agent to submit requests on your behalf. The agent can be a natural person or an entity that is registered with the California Secretary of State.
If you would like to designate an agent to act on your behalf, you and the agent will need to comply with our verification process. Your agent will need to provide us with a power of attorney or your signed permission indicating the agent has been authorized to submit the request on your behalf. We may also require that you verify your identity directly with us or confirm with us that you provided the agent with permission to submit the request.
Personal Information of Minors
We do not advertise our positions to minors under 16 and do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of minors under 16 years of age in the employment context, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Changes to This Notice
We will review and update this Notice as required to keep current with rules and regulations, new technologies and security standards. We will post those changes on the website or update the Privacy Notice modification date below. In certain cases and if the changes are material, we will post a notice on our website.
